Ho, Ho, Ho.......has Genny been naughty or nice this year?

Genny visited Santa and shared her list with him. She wants a set of princess barbies, a barbie house, and a barbie computer. Santa will be very busy loading all that. She's been a pretty good girl!

We celebrate Genny's Forever Home Day!

On July 7, 2008, Genny, Daddy, and Poppy celebrated Genny's 3rd Forever Home Day. Three years previously, we flew home with Genny from Guatemala and surprised Bob's nieces at the Omaha airport....they had no idea we had flown down to Guatemala to get Genny. It was a perfect day!

To celebrate, we had a Dairy Queen cake (as you can see in the photo) and Genny got a card and gift from Poppy & Daddy. To end the evening, we watched the DVD of us coming home on July 7, 2005. We love our lil' Genny so much!

Happy 4th of July!

Genny and Daddy went outside yesterday and painted 4th of July greetings on the sidewalk. We had a lot of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

First Visit to the Dentist...NO CAVITIES!

Genny came away from the dentist cavity-free! She brushes twice daily and we will start to floss! She was very proud!

I love shoes!!!

I even think my baby and stuffed animals need shoes! Last night, I was watching American Idol with Daddy and when a girl came on with a gold dress and high heels, I said I liked her dress. And I really liked the high heels too! Daddy said we have a fashion model in the making!

Gifts for Genny!

Genny's Aunt Tammy, Uncle Dave, and cousins Kelsi and Sammi, came to Lincoln May 17 and brought with them several gifts including the bike above as well as a doll house and toy box. Genny is the luckiest girl in the world!

Genny's Great Grandma turns 88!

We spent Saturday, March 22 in Pierce, NE celebrating Bob's Grandma's 88th birthday. The majority of Bob's family was there with the exception of his cousin, Lynn who lives in Illinois.
